In my role as a product designer I took a vague, messy product problem and turned it into a concrete flow and working prototype in a single day. I mapped the user journey, built a clickable prototype, and used it to align stakeholders and gather rapid feedback. The prototype eliminated ambiguity, accelerated decision-making, and enabled the team to move forward with confidence toward implementation.

Product designer bridging product, design, and engineering

Turned messy problem into a working prototype in a day

In my role as a product designer I mediated a disagreement between design and engineering over a costly implementation. I reframed the discussion around the core user need and constraints, sketched pared-down alternatives, and validated the simpler approach. The team preserved the core experience while significantly reducing implementation time and cost, enabling faster delivery.
